Our Prayer This Week

From the Principal

Dear parents and members of our community,

With the snap lockdown behind us, we are looking forward to a far more settled time for the remainder of this term. Our focus for the whole school assembly on Friday was the individual Grade 6 leaders and the qualities they bring to the school leadership this year. So far they have provided a wonderful example to the rest of the school as to how to live out our school vision of "Welcome, Learn, Faith and Care".

Congratulations to Pippa and Ava who were successful in qualifying for the district swimming sports in Warrnambool on Friday 12th of March. The girls will each swim in three events and we wish them good luck for the day.

Athletics Sports

In our Phys Ed classes we have been preparing for each of the events in our athletics sports day that will be run on Friday the 5th of March with St Thomas' at the Terang Recreation reserve. This is a wonderful day of challenges and successes and the children love the opportunity to compete against others in their age groups. The day requires parents to volunteer to run events and supervise children. If you are able to help, please contact the school as soon as possible to offer your services.

Middle School Story Writing

Attached below is the final draft of a piece of writing the Middle students created together. The focus was on using language that best describes an event in the sequence that it occurred.
