Term 2 Week 7 Monday 31st May
Our Prayer This Week
From the Principal
Dear parents and members of our community,
Once again we find ourselves in lockdown and the need for remote learning for our students. We have organised for just the four days at home and for a longer period if needed. The students have been given computers and the learning resources needed to allow for learning to take place at home this week. We are hoping that all is returned to normal on Friday and that we resume onsite classes at school.
We have made arrangements for onsite learning to be available for students of essential workers and those at risk at home. There will be students at school every day this week and staff to work with them. Other staff will conduct online lessons from their homes. We need to work together during this difficult time to ensure the continued wellbeing and learning of our students.
HCSN Activity Day Postponed
Due to the current lockdown our HCSN activity day last Friday was postponed to some time in the future. We will wait until our current situation eases to take up this opportunity again.
Tri Sports Postponed
Due to the current lockdown our Tri Sports this Friday has been postponed to some time in the future. We will wait until our current situation eases to take up this opportunity again.
Kinder Visit Postponed
Due to the current lockdown our visit by the Mortlake Kinder today has been postponed to some time in the future. We will wait until our current situation eases to take up this opportunity again.
St Colman's Online Raffle
Dear Parents
There are eighteen days to go until our Online Raffle is drawn and so far we have sold 248 tickets. We thank all the families who have already purchased tickets themselves or sold them to others. We are still hopeful of selling at least 400 tickets so we ask that you try to sell at least eight tickets to yourself or to others. Please don't delay buying your own tickets.
The raffle details have been posted on our Facebook page. Please share this post with your contacts. Those who have already done this have been surprised by the number of people who have readily purchased a ticket once they have read the post.
Please contact your families, friends, neighbours, work mates, businesses you deal with and sporting clubs you are involved with to ask if they would be interested in purchasing a ticket or two.

St Colman's Trivia Night
The St Colman's Trivia Night will be held on Friday night, 18th June. This is always a very enjoyable night and a wonderful opportunity to socialise with other St Colman's families and members of the Mortlake community. Please start getting your teams organised and ask your family and friends, especially those from outside of our school community to come along to support our school.
