Our Prayer This Week

From the Principal

Dear parents and members of our community,

Once again our entire school community has adapted quickly to the need to resume remote learning last week. The children accepted the need to learn from home and engaged fully in the lessons set out by their teachers. Our parents, once again, took on the role of teacher and carer over the week and the staff adapted well to the need to teach on screen, at home or on the premises at school. Thank you to everyone for supporting one another over this challenging time.

2022 Enrolments Open

We are inviting our current families and new families to enrol their students to commence school in 2022. Enrolment forms can be accessed on our school web page or from the school office.

Online Raffle

There are only eleven more days to go before we are due to draw our online raffle. Ticket sales have been gaining momentum over the last few days and we have now sold 312. Our target of at least 400 is well within reach and we hope to sell well in excess of that. Please keep asking anyone you know to buy a ticket. Experience is telling us that most people only need to be asked and they are happy to support our school. Sharing via Facebook Messenger has proven fruitful for many.

St Colman's Trivia Night Under Review

The viability of our  Trivia Night next Friday is currently under review. Under current restrictions it can not take place and we are not sure whether these will be eased in time to allow us to go ahead. We will make a decision later this week.

SAC Meeting Postponed

Our second SAC meeting for the term is due this Wednesday, however our current restrictions ask us to limit the number of adults in the school so we will move this meeting to Wednesday 16th of June in the hope that these restriction will have eased by then and we can meet face to face in the school.
